Leave Malaga Airport car park taking the exit marked "Cadiz / Malaga". This is a small white sign and comes immediately after leaving the car park ticket barrier. If you are not leaving from the car park, look for the road signs to "Cadiz/ Malaga".
Cross a roundabout and then move to the right hand lane. Join the E15 / N340 in a westerly direction towards Torremolinos.
Once on the E15 / N340 you will be looking to pass Benalmadena which will lie below and to your left. Shortly afterwards at the Mijas / Fuengirola exit you will be given the choice of following the Coastal route marked E15 / N340 or joining the new Motorway marked A-7. The A-7 is a toll road and will cost you about 3 to 4 Euros depending on the time of day.
Both of these routes will serve you well although the E15 / N340 coastal road is very scenic and will take you right along the edge of the Mediterranean. Once past Fuengirola Castle, you will pass La Cala de Mijas to your left and then in a couple of minutes you will see the signs on your right for Miraflores.
As soon as you see the Miraflores sign begin to slow down as the turning will come up on you very quickly.
Should you opt for the new motorway route (peajé) then you will stay in the left hand lane as you approach the Fuengirola Mijas exit from the E15 / N340.
The motorway will be a about five to ten minutes faster and and will usually have much less traffic.
Leave the motorway at the first exit marked Calahonda and then follow the signs into Miraflores Resort.
