The "Miraflores Club House" is a central, focal point of the resort. Within the Club is Restaurant Miraflores, central reception, club swimming pool and bar with regular entertainment plus at reception it is possible to book excursions to many of the regional points of interest.
For day trips there are lots of famous names to visit from here; Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, Seville and Ronda are all within easy striking distance whilst right on your doorstep lies, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Mijas, Fuengirola and Benalmadena.
Children love the area and in particular the various splash parks, Tivoli world and of course the glorious sandy beaches. For the "older kids" check out the Casinos in Banus and Torrequebrada or try a day at the races in La Cala at the "Hipodromo del Costa del Sol". The race track is also a venue for some pretty spectacular concerts drawing such big name stars as Elton John and Rod Stewart.

There are a number of horse riding stables in the vicinity and trekking is becoming a very popular activity on the Costa del Sol - most are run by British and German owners to a very high standard where safety is of primary importance.
